If the remote PIC determines that the operation cannot be conducted within the regulatory structure of Part 107, he or she is responsible for applying for a CoW and proposing a safe alternative to the operation. This CoW will allow an sUAS operation to deviate from certain provisions of Part 107 as long as the FAA finds that the proposed operation can be safely conducted under the terms of that Certificate of Waiver.Answer (A) is incorrect because these operations fall outside the regulatory scope of Part 107. Answer (C) is incorrect because these operations fall outside the regulatory scope of Part 107.

Except in an emergency, no person may operate an aircraft contrary to an ATC clearance or instruction.

The sUAS cannot be flown faster than a ground speed of 87 knots (100 mph) and must be operated below 400 feet.

You may operate an sUAS from a moving vehicle if you are in a sparsely populated area and the driver does not serve as the remote PIC, person manipulating the controls, or VO.

A Certificate of Aircraft registration expires 3 years after the date of issue unless it is renewed.

The remote PIC is ultimately responsible for identifying hazards and taking appropriate action (or intervening when another person is manipulating the controls) to ensure the safety of the flight.

Night operations require an sUAS to have anti-collision lighting visible for at least 3 SM that has a flash rate sufficient to avoid a collision. The remote PIC may reduce the intensity of, but may not extinguish, the anti-collision lighting if it would be in the interest of safety to do so.

Report any sUAS accident to the FAA within 10 days if it results in serious injury, loss of consciousness, or repairs costing over $500.

No items may be dropped from the sUA in a manner that creates undue hazard to persons or property.
